I live in La Grange, TX and went through a lot of internet shopping a few months ago. I must say, this company is hands down the best rural internet provider in La Grange, TX. Several other companies claim to cover my area , but their signal strength and speeds are terrible. Many companies lie about their real coverage, but this one delivers.
With their 5G internet in La Grange, TX, I get optimal speeds of around 143 Mbps down and 38 Mbps up, with latency usually between 40-60ms (mostly around 50ms, which is steady). While I haven't played intense PvP multiplayer games like COD, I've had no issues with casual multiplayer gaming in RDR2 Online, D4, HotS, and Titanfall 2 Frontier Defense. I'm the only user on my home network, and there's usually no lag.
They also offer military/senior/first responder discounts, making it even better for folks like me. This internet service beats out StarLink for me in terms of speed. While StarLink might be more reliable, its speeds for most users are around 60-80 Mbps with heavy traffic, and it's more expensive. They've promised to improve that over the next few years, but I think that's still a long way off. Until then, this service is the best option.
There are days when I need to reset my box, but it's not an everyday occurrence, and it's almost never more than once a day. I didn't even have to use an external antenna.I'm knocking off half a star because of the limited customer service hours.
Overall, this is a solid option for rural internet, and I highly recommend it.
